Applications of Laser and Sonar Scanning at ICE Bridges 2016

25th May, 2016

Date: Wednesday 1st June, 2016

Location: One Great George Street, Westminster

ICE Bridges 2016 is an opportunity for the design, construction and maintenance communities to learn from innovative projects, hear about new approaches and understand the specifics of regulation changes.

Tom Card, 3D Survey Services Manager, will be joining a fantastic line up of speakers at next week’s ICE Bridges Conference and Exhibition to deliver a presentation on the ‘applications of laser and sonar scanning for above and below water bridge
visualisation and modelling’.

Tom’s presentation will showcase the very latest 3D SoNAR technologies used by LandScope Engineering to provide high resolution visualisations of underwater structures, an alternative to traditional diver based surveys. He will then go on to explore how the resultant data can be used by bridge inspectors to assess any flood damage and determine whether a structure is safe to operate.

Our Bridge Survey and Inspection and Hydrographic Survey webpages have a wealth of information about our services; but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, or have a specific project in mind, please get in contact here.
