Scour Detection in Somerset using Scanning Sonar
LandScope Engineering Ltd were recently commissioned to provide a 3D scanning sonar survey at a site in Somerset to determine the extent of the scour hole located by divers.
Our tripod mounted BlueView BV5000 scanning sonar was deployed at the site in an attempt to identify the extent of the scour hole and undercut beneath the wall.
In circa 5m of water and with zero diver visibility, LandScope were able to determine the extent of the scour to aid the remediation.
