Wireless Tiltmeter Installation
LandScope’s Monitoring Team have recently installed a wireless tiltmeter system in Hampstead in preparation for redevelopment works at the site.
21 IP66 rated tiltmeters were installed across 14 buildings to measure any movement during the demolition and construction of a new building and sub-basement.
An array of 9 wireless, battery powered multi-channel nodes communicate directly to a central data logger. The nodes are self-powered for two years and will notify any relevant parties via email or SMS of any movement beyond the specified tolerance.
The gathered data can be remotely accessed by our surveyors, the site engineer or the clients’ project managers, for download and reporting purposes.
