Survey Operations Manager

LandScope Engineering is currently looking to fill a challenging and rewarding survey operations management role based out of our Shropshire head office located in Picklescott.  This multi-faceted senior management position covers a broad range of commercial, operational, and mentoring responsibilities aligned with KPI targets; and supporting the general manager with daily running of the business.

The primary terms of reference consist of:

  • Resource scheduling (fieldwork, office processing)
  • Resource management and utilisation (equipment and vehicles)
  • Resource development – establish CPD / training plans
  • Project management of larger strategic projects / portfolios
  • Development of project management throughout the business
  • Development of key customer accounts and framework contracts
  • Offer technical expertise and consultancy in specialist areas
  • Preparation of commercial proposals and tenders
  • Assist in establishing business strategy and strategic objectives – CAPEX, new hires, KPI targets
  • Coordinate and promote R&D projects across all service areas
  • Development and support of marketing initiatives
  • Attendance at conferences – market research and presenting
