Health and Safety Management

The safety of our employees, clients and the public is at the heart of everything we do, operating a robust health and safety management system which has been nationally accredited to ISO 45001:2018 and approved by the Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

Should you choose one of our survey services, we would agree on safe working methods with your client representative and generate bespoke method statements, environmental impact mitigation plans and detailed risk assessments. All our survey works are subject to obtaining the appropriate working permits and comply with any established HSE policies and procedures.

Field team members will hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) accreditation and be familiar with site safety briefings and toolbox talks. For more specialist projects, training will be provided for example confined spaces, asbestos awareness and water hygiene etc. The hydrographic team undertake instruction from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).

LandScope are proud of our rigorous induction programme and offer continuous professional development opportunities to employees in order to maintain these high standards. Vocational training is sourced from Highfield, a global leader in compliance and work-based learning qualifications. The courses cover essential competencies in Emergency First Aid, Fire Safety and Manual Handling as well as Display Screen Equipment and GDPR. The company also participates in the government apprenticeship programme and supports those who would like to gain further professional qualifications or chartered status.
