Established in 2004, LandScope Engineering has become one of the leading survey companies in the UK specialising in integrated survey solutions above ground, below ground, and underwater. Our expert team includes members of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). With over 17 years’ experience, we have built a strong reputation as a reliable, efficient, and quality-driven survey company with customers across all sectors.
A strong core geospatial competency allows us to leverage maximum value from the latest application technologies, including mobile solutions from airborne, vehicle-based, and survey vessel platforms.
We aim to simplify the process of acquiring and managing critical data throughout the life-cycle of our customers’ projects. The rigorous planning, management, and delivery of thousands of projects has served to reinforce that quality and technical certainty is inextricably linked to measures taken to safeguard the integrity of and maximise the value of data.
Health and Safety
The safety of our employees, customers, and the public is at the heart of everything we do. LandScope operates a robust health and safety management system which has been nationally accredited and approved by ISO 45001:2018 and the Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
Should you choose one of our survey services, we would agree on safe working methods and generate bespoke method statements, environmental impact mitigation plans and detailed risk assessments. All our survey works are subject to obtaining the appropriate working permits and comply with any established HSE policies and procedures.
Field team members will hold Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) accreditation and be familiar with site safety briefings and toolbox talks. For more specialist projects, further training will be provided to include confined spaces, asbestos awareness and water hygiene etc.
LandScope are proud of our rigorous induction programme and offer continuous professional development opportunities to employees in order to maintain these high standards. Vocational training is embedded within our organisation and we support those who would like to gain further professional qualifications or chartered status.

LandScope are continuously developing as a company, adapting to changes in the industry and frequently updating our procedures, equipment, technology, and training to deliver the highest level of service to our clients. Our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the practices that we follow and the standards we uphold.
For all survey operations, field teams collect data following defined procedures specified within our Quality Management System for the chosen equipment and technique. Carefully designed methodologies, input interfaces, and templates ensure consistency in data collation.
LandScope operates a data Hub – an extended team focused on data processing and meeting benchmark quality gates. Within the Hub our surveyors, geophysicists, CAD technicians and 3D modellers work together seamlessly, ensuring the high calibre of all our survey outputs and deliverables.
Data management is at the core of all services we provide and ultimate protection and safeguarding of your data is considered paramount.
LandScope are certified against the Cyber Essentials scheme, providing reassurance to our clients that measures are in place to adequately protect any data that is provided to or generated by us from any malicious cyber threat. Where appropriate, LandScope are willing to sign non-disclosure agreements and have dedicated workflows to protect any sensitive information.

Our Environmental Footprint
Awarded the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management accreditation, our team are committed to ensuring the continual development of our sustainability program and ongoing improvement of our environmental performance.
Our head office is based in a sympathetically restored but purposefully designed barn complex where every effort has been made to reduce the carbon footprint of this centuries-old converted building.
In order to further reduce the environmental impact of the business, we strive to effectively manage fleet vehicle utilisation. We achieve this by ensuring all vehicles are correctly maintained and that appropriate resources are deployed from the nearest feasible office, avoiding long single-occupant journeys where possible.
