Confined Spaces Training
LandScope surveyors have recently undertaken a confined spaces training course.
This involved learning about the risks of entering confined spaces, the use of harnesses and fall arrest systems and the use of gas monitors and breathing apparatus. Both the practical and written tests were successfully passed.
The knowledge gained will allow our team to enter safely medium risk confined spaces as part of any future project. It will, for example, be utilised during an upcoming laser scan survey of a pumping station.
