COVID-19 Update

17th March, 2020

As the spread of COVID-19 accelerates through the UK, and the Government introduces the necessary counter-measures and precautions, we would like to confirm we are doing everything within our power to continue the safe supply of our services.

Both of our UK facilities remain open, however, we are clearly operating in a rather different way. Wherever possible our data processing and deliverable production work has been assigned to remote (home) working through our ISO and Cyber Essentials accredited VPN infrastructure; this ensures the consistency of data quality and security whilst mitigating risk of infectious spread. Our field teams are now mostly home based and fully enabled with all of the survey equipment required to deliver comprehensive data acquisition. Field deployments are resourced and scheduled to remove the need for any overnight stays and comprehensive risk assessments are generated to reduce human contact – for example the use of online site inductions. Wherever possible we are deploying our mobile solutions – including Leica Pegasus mobile mapping and 3D-Radar mobile GPR – to minimise the need for boots on the ground, even on projects where this latest technology has not been specified.

Our modus operandi is reviewed daily to ensure currency and consistency with Government guidance. An agile and pragmatic approach with a dedicated and enthusiastic team allows us to continue delivering safely.

We will continue to keep you updated as the situation develops; in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact our team if you have any queries.
