Underwater Modelling and Visualisation
A recent project saw the integration of our hydrographic and laser scanning capabilities to determine the extent of scour beneath a bridge in Dorset.
Our Trimble SX10 laser scanner was used to rapidly measure and model above water whilst our BlueView scanning sonar, deployed from a survey vessel, was used to capture the underwater detail including riverbed and bridge structure.
LandScope has developed techniques in order to seamlessly integrate above and below water data sets to create a compelling 3D model of what is often an inaccessible and challenging survey environment.
