Polecat Poised for Easter Survey
LandScope survey vessel ‘Polecat’ is being installed with a high resolution multibeam echo-sounding system for an Easter survey campaign.
Augmented with sophisticated motion reference units – including an inertial navigation system – the latest GNSS and the 2015 release of HyPack / HySweep software, the vessel will be making the most of the favourable spring weather.
Producing highly accurate 3D models of river bed topography, the data will also be integrated to LiDAR data acquired with the autoMAP Mobile Mapping system.
