Row the Amazon – Challenge Completed!
We are pleased to announce that our very own Martin Berry has completed the Row the Amazon charity challenge!
Martin, Director of LandScope Engineering, and four fellow amateur rowers began the 2,077 mile journey in early November, having self-funded the challenge in order to raise as many funds as possible for their chosen charities
Last week, the crew rowed into Macapá, Brazil, and became only the second team to complete the journey!
Martin chose to support Hope House Children’s Hospices, a charity that provides specialist nursing care in addition to practical and emotional support to terminally ill and life limited children and young people. Donations can be made here.
