Structural Condition Survey of Dock Walls
LandScope’s infrastructure asset management service, autoMAP, was recently commissioned to undertake a full and detailed structural condition survey of various assets around Canada, Gladstone and Seaforth Docks within the Port of Liverpool.
The application of an integrated survey approach presented the opportunity to provide the client with a compelling 3D model, above and below the waterline.
LandScope were instructed to capture high resolution multibeam bathymetry along various dock walls. To complement this, high density LiDAR point cloud and photography were acquired above the waterline. Utilising our road towable, 6.9m MCA coded vessel ‘Investigator’, the survey data was acquired rapidly, removing any potential disruption to port activity.
