UAV for Coastal Monitoring
On behalf of the Environment Agency and its contractor, BAM Nuttall, LandScope recently completed a UAV survey of Dawlish Warren – beach and dunes – in order to generate a model of change since the baseline survey which followed the storm damage of 2014.
The photogrammetric model was constrained to a robust survey control network (circa 50 GCP) to ensure the highest order of UAV survey accuracy in developing a high resolution digital terrain model (DTM).
