Using Laser Scanning Technology to Preserve our Heritage
Attingham Park is a Grade 1 listed English country house in Shropshire, owned and managed by the National Trust. LandScope were recently requested to develop a 3D model of a domed window frame which houses and protects the original stained glass structure.
LandScope deployed the Trimble TX8 laser scanner, a combination of the compensator and high-precision mode ensured clean and accurate data from which the new glass could be modelled.
