Dimensional Control Survey of Vessel
LandScope recently conducted a dimensional control survey of a survey vessel in Southampton, a project that involved the adoption of laser scanning techniques to accurately and efficiently create a 3D model of the vessel.
Our team utilised the Faro Focus 3D to acquire the laser scan data with a specific focus on; the multibeam echosounder, motion reference system and GNSS antenna.
