PAS 128 Buried Services Survey for MOD Site

17th May, 2017

LandScope have recently completed the second phase of a large-scale PAS 128 compliant utility survey of an MOD base in the UK. Survey crews were deployed to site over a three month period with simultaneous office based data processing and model production.

The client requested a Type B survey to meet the quality level B1P wherever possible. Given the high density of utilities and manholes on site, our mobile ground penetrating radar system was utilised alongside traditional hand-pushed GPR techniques to increase the speed of data acquisition and ensure the project was completed and delivered within the tight time constraints.

Further information on our mobile ground penetrating radar and its applications can be found here or you may contact Martin Berry with any specific technical or project requirements.
