R2Sonic 2020 Integrated into Hydrogaphic Survey Portfolio
LandScope has strengthened its hydrographic survey portfolio by committing to an R2Sonic 2020 multi-beam echo sounder with an Applanix based 2INS inertial navigation system.
Offering a 120-degree swath, the shallow water, high performance bathymetric sensor is suitable for a wide range of surveys both inshore and coastal.
The compact and versatile nature of the system enables it to be mobilised on a wide variety of vessels and combined with the LiDAR capabilities of the Topcon IPS3, LandScope are able to offer accurate, high resolution, geometric data both above and below the waterline.
LandScope’s hydrographic survey team have a busy month ahead with projects on the water in Cumbria, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire and Northumberland – updates to follow as the projects get underway.
