Galway Survey – “To Be Sure”
Mobilising at short notice, LandScope have recently returned from Galway, having completed an emergency Port survey. Our road-trailed and highly versatile coded vessel – s.v.’Polecat II’ – was mobilised with high-resolution multibeam sonar and variable frequency acoustic sub-bottom profiler to extensively survey and confirm clearance of an area of bed within the harbour.
The survey crew had to work around marine traffic and uncertain vessel berthing schedules to ensure complete survey coverage.
